We’re excited to announce that Yahoo is the newest member of the Ads Integrity Alliance (AIA), joining forces with AOL, Google, Facebook, Twitter, and more. The AIA brings together the online advertising community in a mission to protect Internet users from misleading and potentially harmful advertisements, providing a forum for industry leaders such as Yahoo to advance this issue.
At Yahoo, our philosophy of safety by design is integral to our online and mobile product development processes. We work with a wide variety of individuals and organizations — including government officials, industry partners and not-for-profit organizations — to create an inspiring and safe environment for our users worldwide. Joining AIA is an important step for us as we continue to look for additional ways to bolster online safety.
